Letter of apology to a rabbi from members of the Eida Charedit about the behavior of a few members slandering the Agudah.

The letter was sent in reply to a letter sent by an anonymous rabbi to Rabbi Yosef Haim Zonnenfeld, Ga’avad of the Eida, in which he complains that while Agudat Israel strives to support the Jews of Jerusalem, they slander it. “There are some of the people of Jerusalem who try to ride on both sides of the line, violate both sides, show themselves to be supporters of the straight path, etc. and a different spirit among them etc. is clearly seen in that they oppose.”

In their letter, the members of the Eida write that they were rather one of the founders of the movement "and it was only thanks to our work that the association reached its current state" later they half-heartedly admit that there is truth in the complaint
"Well, it would be conceivable to blame the ultra-Orthodox of Jerusalem if they state the situation as it truly is… and for that reason the ultra-Orthodox are angry at the Agudah that stopped supporting the Badatz, who cannot give them justice and warn them.”

A polemical letter filled with historic details.
