Sixteen receipts of the Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva, from varied years – four of them with the handwritten signature of the Gaon Rabbi Zvi Yehuda Hacohen Kook, the Rosh Yeshiva, and twelve with the handwritten signature of Rabbi Shalom Natan Ra’anan, Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook’s son-in-law and his brother-in-law’s co-partner in managing the Yeshiva.
Rabbi Zvi Yehuda and his brother-in-law Rabbi Ra’anan were close friends and co-managed the Merkaz HaRav Yeshiva. Already in Rabbi Avraham Yitzchak Hacohen Kook’s lifetime, they helped him manage the Yeshiva and publish writings. After Rabbi Kook’s passing, the brothers-in-law managed the yeshiva together.
