Likutei Torah the second section of Sefer Torah Or – which was printed by the Admor the Tzemach Tzeddek without his comments. In LIkutei Torah, his comments were added after the pleas of the Chassidim and the Admor Hazaken’s revelation to him and his sons in a dream.
Published by the sons of the Admor the Tzemach Tzeddek, the Admor the Maharil of Kopust and his brother the Admor Rabbi Chaim Shneur Zalman of Liadi.
Printed by the brothers Chanina Lipa, Aryeh Leib and Yehoshua Heschel Shapira, the grandsons of the Rav of Slavuta, first edition, Zhytomyr, 1848. Sections I and IV on Sefer Vayikra and Shir Hashirim. Originally, [1], 8, 50 leaves. 3, 3-51 leaves. In this copy, the title page of Vayikra and the four following leaves which include some Divrei Elokim Chaim on Sefer Shemot are missing. Separate title page for Shir Hashirim. Ancient semi-leather binding. Taping (some of which affects the text) and wear, mainly to the external leaves. Tears. Stains. Many signs of usage. Fine, wide margins. Mostly good overall condiiton.
Inside the book, several comments/handwritten corrections, in pencil and pen.
