Typewritten letter on official stationery from the days of Selichot, 1957. Addressed to the Avrech Menachem Nachum (Perlman, a teacher at the school of Kefar Chabad).
At its beginning, the Rebbe informs that the Pidyon Nefesh has been received and then blesses: "ולקראת השנה החדשה… הנני {originally, an error: "הננ"} בזה להביע לו ברכתי, ברכת כתיבה וחתימה טובה לשנה טובה ומתוקה בגשמיות וברוחניות". He then ends with a blessing with an unusual addition for Talmud Torah with Yiras Shamayim: "בברכה לת"ת ביראת שמים" – the Rebbe’s handwritten signature.
