Lot 117:
Typewritten letter on the official stationery of the Torath Emeth Yeshiva of Jerusalem established by the Rebbe the Rashab and under the presidency of the Rebbe the Rayatz. From the 30th of Shevat 1939. Addressed to the philanthropist Mrs. Chaya Sarah, the daughter of Rabbi Yeshaya Lifshitz. The letter is in Yiddish expresses gratitude and blessing for her generous donation to the yeshiva. Black ink except for some emphases in red ink and larger fonts.
Signed by the managers of the yeshiva: the Chabadic Mashpi’a Rabbi Alter Simchovich who passed away approx. a month and a half later and the Rosh Yeshiva Rabbi Chanoch Hendel Havlin.
[1] leaf, written on both sides. 28X22 cm. Rust stain from a staple with slight scorching. Filing perforations. Some stains. Good overall condition.
