Interesting document by which Mrs. Devorah Weinstein confirms a certain sum to anyone owning the document, mortgaging the Chalukah which she receives from the Vaad Haklali Knesset Yisrael!

Beneath her script, Rabbenu Rabbi Shneur Zalman indicated and signed that he was familiar with the woman and that she had signed the document before him: "באפאי חתמה … האשה דבורה ומידענא דדא היא…. בעה"ח יום הנ"ל פעה"ק הנ"ל נאם שניאור זלמן סלאנים".

Extremely rare! There are almost no letters handwritten by this Chassid.

The Gaon and Chassid Rabbi Shneur Zalman Slonim (1862-1936) was born in Hebron to the Gaon and Chassid Rabbi Mordechai Dober Slonim, the son of the Rebbetzin Menucha Rachel, who was the daughter of the Mitteler Rebbe. Was a Gaon who was revered by the Admor the Rashab during the time he spent in his Chassidic court and was even the Melamed of the Admor the Rayatz. In 1900, after he returned to Eretz Yisrael, the Gaon author of the Torat Chessed of Lublin ordered him to replace him as Av Beit Din of Jaffa, a position he held for approx. 37 years, until his passing.
