Lot 9:
Sefer Panim Masbirot on Aggadot HaShas from Masechet Berachot to Masechet Sukkah by Rabbi Moshe Minstras ben Rabbi Shimon Chazan who was exiled from Vienna. On the title page, it is stated that the work was authored in the distress of poverty and hunger and if he could, the author would have published his work on the entire Shas.
First edition – Prague, 1693. [41] leaves. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection. Approbations by leading contemporary rabbis.
No binding. Detached title page. Stains. Trimmed edges [in the printing process?] slightly affecting the text in some places. Folds. Small tears to edges. Good overall condition.
Ancient signature on the title page and ist verso: "קניתי בעד ג"פ פייבל במ"ה שבתי זצ"ל". On verso of the title page, an addition to the above name: "טרע"נ"?. On verso of the title page, an ancient pencil notation with the name: "הק’ משה ב"ה שמעון ז"ל שונאמן(?) דפאבראד(?)".
