This album is an awful testimony to the horrors of the war that took place in the ghettos. Many pictures from the Nazi atrocities and the catastrophe faced by European Jewry, as well as the daring actions taken by the partisans. Originally, there was an Introduction in Polish, English, Hebrew, and Yiddish by Gershon Teft (possibly, this copy is a variant and was originally printed without the introduction. We could not find out for certain). Captions in six languages: English, Hebrew, Yiddish, Polish, Russian and French.
No binding. Some stains and minor blemishes. Mostly good condition. Possibly, several pages are missing – has not been thoroughly studied.
