Lot 404:
Letter handwritten and signed by Rabbi Chaim Schwartz Av Beit Din of Hirben, the eldest brother of Rabbi Yehosef Schwartz. Sent to Rabbi Simcha Bamberger. Hirben, 1872. At the beginning of the letter, Rabbi Chaim thanks sending him his book Chinuch Lane’arim. Then the letter discusses the halachic differences between the day of death and the day of burial.
Letters by him are extremely rare!
[1] leaf, written on both sides. 22.5 cm. Good-fair condition. Small tears to edges, not affecting the text. Stains. Fold lines.
