Sefer Zichron Avraham, novellae and glosses on Shulchan Aruch Orach Chaim by the great Gaon Rabbi Avraham Halevi Bing Av Beit Din of Wurzburg, one of the Dayanim of the Beit Din of Baal Hahafla’ah and a leading Rosh Yeshiva. First and rare edition. Rabbi Avraham Bik Press, Pressburg, [1892].
The book was published with comments by the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Zekl Bamberger. At the beginning of the book, an approbation by Rabbi Yitzchak Elchanan Spektor and Rabbi Shimon Halevi Horowitz of Leipzig. After them, a lengthy foreword by the publisher about finding the glosses and the author’s biography, with many important historical details.
This work is a compilation of glosses that were found on the leaves of the Shulchan Aruch of Rabbi Avraham. As the publisher states in his foreword, some of them were by Hanesher Hagadol, the holy Gaon Rabbi Natan Adler, who was the author’s leading Rav.
