Sefer Nekudot Hakesef, on Shulchan Aruch Yoreh Deah, the scholalrly work of the Gaon Rabbi Shabtai ben Rabbi Meir Katz, Baal HaShach (Siftei Cohen) on Choshen Mishpat. In his work, he mostly criticizes the words of the Taz (Turei Zahav) by the Gaon Rabbi David Segal His work was eventually printed in the Shulchan Aruch itself and is considered one of its important commentaries.
Second and Rare Edition Henau in Amsterdam fonts, 1715. The detail on the title page repeats itself twice, what can be misleading. [1], 46 leaves [i.e. 45]. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection. Important approbations that were given specifically to this edition.
Ancient binding, unravelled leather spine. Some moth perforations focused on the external leaves near the spine. Stains on the last leaves. Reddish edges. Good overall condition.
On the title page, important ancient signatures: "הק’ משה היילפרין חונה… פולדא והמדינה יע"א" "קניתי מהוני מהור"ר יוסף פולדא נ"י" – referring to the great Gaon Rabbi Moshe Heilperin, who served as Rav of Fulda.
Additional signatures: "הק’ יהודא ליב…" "דוד בלא"א כ"ה משה יעקב זצ"ל מראדינבורג".
