Sefer Kitzur Mavar Yabok, original work on Mitzvat Bikur Cholim (visiting the sick) by Rabbi Aharon Berachya ben rabbi Moshe Modena of the 17th century.
The press the Gaon and linguist Rabbi Wolf ben Rabbi Shimshom Heidenheim, the Raveh. Rodelheim, 1825. [2], 46 leaves. Printed after the Furth 1866 edition. The Ashkenazic translation was re-edited in Modern German (Tzor letters). The Psalms that were not translated in the Frankfurt am Main 1864 edition were translated here.
On verso of the title page, a clarification by the publisher, the Raveh, about the book being published according to the will of Rabbi Wolf Wertheimer, a member of the Chevra Kaddisha of Frankfurt am Main.
Original binding? Blemished spine. Stains. Good overall condition.
Notation on the title page: "חבר לד… ב"ח, ג"ח" – initials of Bikur Cholim Gemilout Chasadim.
