Fine volume with Nevi’im Acharonim and Ketuvim, Hebrew and Latin headings, London, 1812-1814. Separate ttile page for Ketuvim. At the end of the book, a lexicon with a separate title page. [1], 352, [3] leaves. With a table of the Haftarot for all year, according to the customs of all communities and an advertisement for a Frey Dictionary. At its end, 41, [2] pp. printed from left to right, with a special title page: Lexicon… Composuit J. S. C. F. Frey… Londini… 1814. With a Latin dedication and a foreword with a printed signature by Frey from November 1, 1814. This leaf is rare. In the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book: "The copy we have seen does not have this dedication and foreword" – which appears in this copy. Fine, ancient leather binding; the back board is not identical. Stains and some moth perforations. Some other blemishes. Good overall condition. Ownership notation and ex-libris – have not been studied.
The title pages are a copy of the title pages that were printed in Amsterdam in1666 with an engraved illustration of a vulture and in it, according to legend, an illustration of the reception for Shabtai Zvi with the Tarbush in Amsterdam.
