מלוי כל משאלות הכלל והפרט – Letter handwritten and signed by the Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Klevan, author of the Divrei Yehoshua, addressed to the Gaon Rabbi Yechezkel Sarna, the Rosh Yeshiva of Hebron – Washington D.C. 1939. 

Rabbeinu begins his letter with blessings for the New Year: "אחדשכת"ר ואחרי אחול של כתיבה וחתימה טובה עם מלוי משאלות הכלל והפרט".


Later he discusses charity matters of the Hebron Yeshiva, being one of its loyal Gabaim in the USA.

The Gaon Rabbi Yehoshua Klavan (1884-1953) president of the Union of Rabbis of the USA and Av Beit Din of Washington D.C. A leading disciple of Rabbi baruch Ber Leibowitz, the author of the Birkat Shmuel. Served as Av Beis Din of the Lithuanian towns of Zaskovich and Gilvon. In 1923, immigrated to the USA, where he served first as Av Beis Din of Burlington, Vermont and later of Washington D.C. for approx. years until his passing.
