In his letter, Rabbi Hirsch reminds the Rosh Yeshiva of Hebron that he is awaiting his response to a question he had sent him: "הנה זה כמה אשר כתבתי לכת"ר איזה שאלה אבל לצערי לא קבלתי תשובה כאשר שמעתי שכת"ר לא היה בקו הבריאות ולא היה באפשרי לכתוב…. גם עלי עבר עמל ותלאה אבל אקוה להבורא עולם כי הכל יבא אל נכון… הדורש בשלום כת"ר ומברך ברפואה שלמה…".
