Rare booklet printed on quality chromo paper (an additional Spanish title page) – single edition. 30 pp. Stains and minor blemishes. Good overall condition. 

2. Torah Shebe’al Peh, Ir Inholt Chronologisher Seder – the chronology of the delivering of the oral Torah. In Yiddish. First period first cycle. Single edition – Mexico, 1862. 126, [2] pp. Introduction by the author in Yiddish. Printed cover. Good overall condition. 

The author: rabbi Yaakov Avigdor (1896-1967) a descendant of a family of rabbis, the Rav of Drohobych and the vicinity and later, the Chief Rabbi of Mexico. Received his Semicha from his rabbis, headed by Rabbi Meir Erik of Torno. One of the leaders of Va’ad Hahatzalah and one of the founders of the Beit Din for Hatarat Agunot after the Holocaust. After the Holocaust, he moved to America, serving as the Rosh Yeshiva of Rabbi Shlomo Kluger in Manhatten, the Chief Rabbi of Argentine and eventually, Chief Rabbi of Mexico. Authored many books and wrote many articles.
