"זה הספר תהלים כתיבת יד" Facsimile of an artistic Sefer Tehillim – special calligraphic script and borders and illustrations matching the verses by the artist Moshe Weinberg. Each book of the five has a separate and different illustrated title page. There is also a stylish Yahrzeit table with a list of subscribers at its end.

Following the first title pages are facsimiles of the approbations by the rabbis of America and then, the artist’s picture holding his original work. After it, an additional English title page with the USA flag, date and place of printing – Chicago-Illinois, 1912. 54 [i.e. 55] leaves, [7] plates, portrait. In the National Library, the book appears, of course, in the Rare Book Collection.

The beauty of the work is indescribable; therefore, we shall allow the enclosed pictures to speak for themselves. We must note that the computer-like script an illustrations are actually the artist’s rare and precise work of art and this is a facsimile of an authentic work of art.

Original binding, mostly detached. Stains. Good overall condition.
