Sefer Tzivah Yeshu’ot Yaakov: section I – Hanhagot Mussar, section II – claims against Zionism, Hamizrachi and Agudat Yisrael. Edited and published by Rabbi Yeshaya Spitz of Torno (see below). Satmar, [1936].
The holy Admor Rabbi Yoel Teitelbaum of Satmar, said of this book: "עס איז אלעס מיינע ווערטער" [free translation: It is all my words]. According to an ancient tradition, the author is Rabbi Yaakov Zvi, who was a Shochet in Torno and a close friend of the Admor. Apparently, Rabbi Yaakov Zvi compiled the work from the sermons and writings of the Admor and for an unknown reason, published it anonymously. Rabbi Yeshaya who is referred to on the title page and inside the book, was the publisher and possibly, editor of the book. At the beginning of the book, a sharp approbation by the holy Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Ehrenreich of Shamloy, who writes among others: "…טוב עשה בעמיו [המחבר] לברר לעיני בני ישראל ענין מעשה ציונים והמזרחי ובעלי האגודה, וכי צריכין להרחיק מדעותיהם למען לא ילכדו… וזה לי כמה שנים אשר אני מעורר ודורש לפני קהל ועדה כדברים האלה, ובעזה"י בערתי דיעות הללו מקהלתי יצ"ו… שלא לפנות ח"ו אחרי ההבלים ארגאניזאציאנען שלהם, יהי’ באיזה שם שיהי’… ונלכדו בזה גם צדיקים ואנשי מעשה… טח עיניו מראות מה שהעולים הללו גורמים… על ידי ישוב הארץ שלהם בפאלעסטינא, המחללים שמטה ע"י היתרים שבדו להם…".
At the end of the book, the author writes sharply against the Daf Yomi established by Rabbi Meir Shapira of Lublin.
[3], 3-50, 52-55. Leaf 51 is missing.
Condition varies: most of the leaves are in good-fair condition. The last leaves are in fair-poor condition, some are detached with tears. Aging stains and small tears to some leaves. No binding.
