Sefer Shivrei Luchot, elucidation and comnentary on the אל תקרי’ of the Shas by the holy Gaon Rabbi Yechiel Michl of Namirov, who was known to predict the horrific Pra’ot Tach Vetat (Khmelnytsky Uprising) (see Hebrew catalog) – second and rare edition, Vietzen, 1913. [20], 62, [3] pp. 20 cm. Some stains. Sall tears to the edges of some leaves. Old, well-prserved binding. Very good overall condition. 

Interestring approbation in this edition! The Gaon Rabbi Yeshaya Zilberstein Av Beit Din of Vietzen wrote in the approbation appearing in this edition: 

"… לכן טובה גדולה עשה [המדפיס], לעשות שארית לספר הקדוש הזה, ובפרט מדבר בו גדולות ונצורות אודות חבלי משיח אשר היה אז בעתו בגזרת שנת ת"ח. ויען כי כנראה עתה מלחמות גדולות ממשמשין ובאין, ובאין יודע מה טמון בעמקי סתרי העתיד, לכן מצוה רבה הוא לחזק ידים רפות ולאמץ שברי לבב…", predicting Worl War I. The approbation was written in Nissan 1913; indeed, several months after it was published, World War I began. At the beginning of the book, the El male Rachamim prayer for the author. 

The book was published by the Chassid Rabbi Shlomo Baruch Shmelhoisen, a Chassid of the Yitav Lev and Kedushat Yom Tov, based on the first edition that was published in Lublin in 1680 and is extremely rare.
