Printed Ketubah, large format with gilt lettering, filled-in by hand, for the marriage of Rabbi Raphael Chaim Binyamin Ephraim, the son of the famed Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Zeev Yadlker, with Mrs. Sarah Chava the daughter of Rabbi Shlomo Gershon Sam of Brisk. The details were filled-in by hand. On the lower part of the document, the witnesses’ signatures. Jerusalem, Sivan 1895. 

The bridgroom’s father was the Gaon Rabbi Yitzchak Zeev Yadlker, author of Sefer Tiferet Zion which was approbated by the Saraf of Brisk Rabbi Moshe Yehuda Leib Diskin, to whom he was close. 

The bride’s father was rabbi Shlkomo Gerhson, who was the cousin of Rabbi Shmuel Zanvil Klopish and Rabbi Shlomo David Kahana of Warsaw. 

It should be noted that the wedding took place in the Maharil Diskin’s lifetime and possibly he himself was the Mesader Kiddushin.
