Sefer Hora’at Sha’ah commentary on the words of Rabbeinu Shmuel Eidlis, the Maharsha, by Rabbi Shlomo ben Rabbi Shmuel of Griditz and Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac ben Rabbi Shmuel Heilpron. The press of Isaac Shpier, the son-in-law of Rabbi David Frankel, [1765]. First and rare edition. 

This book was originally written by two authors! un uncommon phenomenon. On the title page, the handwritten signatures of the Gaon Rabbi Yonah Bondi: "יונה לבית באנדי"; דרך אולם השער יב"א [-י’ונה ב’א’נדי]".

[2], 33 [i.e. 34] leaves. approx. 20.5 cm. Fair-poor condition. An open tear to the title page and first leaves. Tears, wear and stains on many leaves. Moth perforations. Trimmed edges close to text. Old binding, dismantled and blemished. 

The Gaon Rabbi Moshe Yonah ben Rabbi Avraham Bondi (1768-1806) a disciple of the Noda BiYehuda. Novellae by him was published in the book Torei Zahav. Additional manuscripts by him containing Novellae on the Shas from the time he studied at the Meinz Yeshiva are in the National Library.
