Lot 110:
1. Mishpat Tzedek, section II of Teshuvot Rabbi Meir Rabbi Shem Tov Melamed – Salonika, 1799. [1], 202, [1] leaves. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection. Sephardic ownership notation on the title page. Much taping affecting the text.
2. Shulchan Gavoha on Shulchan Aruch, section II of three on Yoreh Deah – First edition, Salonika, 1780. Originally, [2], 224, 227-268 leaves. In this copy, leaves 122-154 are missing. In the National Library, part of this set appears in the Rare Book Collection. Interesting notation on the title page: "היא שנת התק"מ לפ"ג 5 שנים לפני הולד סי’ משה מנטפיורי ז"ל ו-2 שנים קודם מות הרה"ג שלום שרעבי זצוק"ל היום כתבתי… כ’ שבט..".
3. Simchat Olam on the Rambam, Shut and more, by Rabbi Chaim Shabtai Lago – first edition, Salonika 1801. [2], 127 leaves. Some blue leaves. Sephardic ownership notation on the title page and a consecutive notation on several leaves in Sephardic script and a Sephardic signature. Blurred ancient stamps with the name Avraham – see pictures. Stamps: משה אייזענבאך ירושלים"
4 Sha’ashu’a Talmidim on Tur Choshen Mishpat, by Rabbi Shmuel Yitzchak Modeliano – first edition, Salonika, 1797. [1], 144 leaves, [2] leaves. On the twenty five first leaves, taping affecting the text. Rare book. Appearing on the spine: "ע"ה אליהו מני הי"ו" – the Gaon and Kabbalist Rabbi Eliyahu Saliman Mani (1818-1899) the Rav of Hebron and Rosh Yeshiva of the Beit El Kabbalistic yeshiva. Authored many books, most of them on Kabbalah. Was a friend of Rabbeinu Yosef Chaim, the Ben Ish Chai, with whom he also studied.
5. Shita Leharav Hameiri on tractate Yevamot, by Rabbi Menachem ben Rabbi Shlomo Lebeit Meir known as Rabbeinu Hameiri, one of the Rishonim. Basic book first edition, Salonika, 1794. [2], 101 leaves. Stefansky Sifrei Yesod 61. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection.
Conditions vary. Old bindings, most of them with an ancient leather spine.
