Complete set, ten volumes containing the famous work Sdei Chemed by the Gaon Rabbi Chaim Chezekaya Medini of Hebron, which is an encyclopedia-like work for Klale HaShas, alphabetically ordered. Including the indices and appendices.
Printed by the personal request of the Rayatz. Published by Kehat New York between 1949-1953. Each volume has, on verso of the title page, a foreword by the publisher (the Rebbe himself during his father-in-law’s lifetime).
The last volume refers to his late father-in-law, with the title זצוקללה"ה נבג"מ זי"ע. On the facing page is the notation:
"באמצע הכנת כרך זה לדפוס נסתלק כבוד קדושת מו"ח… יוסף יצחק… אדמו"ר מליובאוויטש גאון ישראל ונשיאו" (In
the middle of the preparation of this volume his Holiness passed away… Yosef Yitzhak…the Admor of Lubavitch Gaon Yisrael).

On the flyleaf of each volume, an ownership notation:
"ב"ה שלו’ מרדכי הכהן שבדרון מכ"מ" – Rabbi Shalom Schwadron (1912-1998) was the grandson of Rabbi Shalom Mordechai Schwadron, the Maharsham of Berezhan, and son-in-law of Rabbi Yehuda Leib Auerbach. He was known for his fiery sermons in synagogues and yeshivas, especially in the Great Synagogue of Zichron Moshe. He edited the books Or Yahel by his Rav Yehuda Leib Chasman, and Lev Eliyahu by Rabbi Eliyahu Lupian.
