"הוציאו מהעלם אל הגילוי ה"ה אדמו"ו מוהר"ר נחמן זצוק"ל"

A flowing river, the source of wisdom, Rabbi Nachman of Breslov revealed secrets to our worthless generation giving us the famed foundational Tikkun Haklali. Already in his lifetime, he told his Chassidim that he was being persecuted for it.

We have now merited holding this sacred item in our hands – a copy of the first-ever edition of the Tikkun Haklali, which has since had numerous editions – printed at the house of his leading disciple Rabbi Nosson of Breslov by his son Rabbi Shachne in 1921. 6 leaves. Stefansky Chassidut 621.  Stefansky Sifrei Yesod, the comments of 286. In the National Library, the book appears of course, in the Rare Book Collection.

A foreword by Rabbi Nosson of Breslov, explaining the nature of the Tikkun. At its end, he wrote: "אחר כך קודם הסתלקותו הקדוש אמר כל מי שיבא על קברי ויתן פרוטה לצדקה ויאמר אלו העשרה קפיטיל תהלים ואמרם איך שיאמרם אשתדל בכל כחי לעשות לו טובה ואמר בזה"ל איך וועל מיך לייגין און דער ליינג און אוכ דער ברייט איך זאהל אים אה טובה טאהן בייא דיא פאות וועל איך אים ארויס ציהען פון דייעם שאול תחתית".

The text of the Tikkun contains the following: leaves 2-3, ten Psalms: 16, 32, 41, 42, 59, 77, 90, 105, 137, 150.  Then leaves 4-6:  אשירה לה’ בחיי – a prayer by his disciple Rabbi Nosson of Breslov (the prayer was not included in his book Likutei Tefillot yet was included by mistake in all following editions with the title "Likutei Tefillot").

Size including the binding: 18.5X12 cm.

New, elegant leather binding. Quality bluish paper. The leaves had gone through professional restoration of filling-in moth perforations and completing the missing text – see pictures.
