Lot 49:
1. Sefer Kuntres HaYechieli, 3 sections, Hanhagot for synagogue, education in the home, Hilchot Mezuzah, fencing of the roof), Terumot and Ma’asrot, and laws of burial, by the Kabbalist Rabbi Yitzchak Alfiya. An important work that was praised by Gedolei Yisrael.
First edition in the author’s lifetime – Jerusalem 1928. first edition. The first title page is with red lettering and there is an additional title page for each section. [1], 100, 88, 84 leaves. No binding. Some detached sheets and leaves. Some moth perforations. Stains. Good overall condition.
On verso of the title page, an important stamp by the Kabbalist author: "יצחק אלפייה סו"מ חברת אור חדש וצמח צדיק חכב"ץ" (see below) and a stamp of the aforementioned Chevrah.
2. Sefer Yair Nativ, elucidating the virtue and order of studying Torah, Kabbalah first edition – Jerusalem, 1939. [1], 120 leaves. Separate title page for the table of study.
3. Bound with it Sefer Ahavat Hashem, based on the Zohar, the Shas, Midrashim and more. First edition – Jerusalem, 1943. [1], 60 leaves.
Detached binding. Stains. Good overall condition.
On the (partly detached) flyleaf, a handwritten dedication: "מתנה מאת הרה"ג וכו’ המחבר נ"י" indicating this copy was given as a gift…
The Kabbalist Rabbi Yitzchak Alfiya author of Kuntres HaYechieli (1878-1916) the son of Rabbi Yaakov Chaim Yisrael. Was born in Aram Tzova and immigrated to Jerusalem as a child, where he studied at the Beit El Yshiva. Served as a Dayan and established the Or Chadash Vetzemach Tzadik Yeshiva. Author of Si’ach Yotzchak, Re’ach LeYitzchak and more.
