Alongside the title page, an illustration of flora and angels on clouds with the word "לסבלונת" between them. סבלונות – a gift to the bride from the groom and his family before their marriage. An identical inscription is embossed on the binding.

Gedolei Yisrael greatly appreciated the work of the Raveh, as indicated by the title pages of these Chumashim: "מדויק בתכלית הדיוק ומסדר בשלמות הסדור". It is common knowledge that the Admor Baal HaTanya ordered the printer Rabbi Yisrael Yoffe of Kopust to proofread the Siddur according to the version of the Raveh "since it was finely precise". Maran the Chatam Sofer said of the Raveh’s work that without it, the Piyyutim would have been forgotten.

Impressive, original leather binding, scuffed due to usage. Embossed with the inscription "לסבלונת" as stated. Blemished spine and loose front board. Some taping. Stains, Signs of usage. Good overall condition.
