Lot 20:
Sefer Toldot Noah, poetic work on matters of Mussar, with a fine commentary by Rabbi Noah ben Shimon Halltracht of Lisa Av Beit Din of Lubrantz, first edition in the author’s lifetime, and apparently also a single one – Warsaw, 1830. With important approbations including one by Rabbi Akiva Eiger. 14, 17-24, 28-44, [1], 45-54, 58-69, 71-88, [1] leaves. At its end, a list of subscribers from all around Poland and Lithuania.
Late, stable binding. Leaves 30 and 31 appear twice. Some leaves were misplaced in the binding. The title page and some other leaves are poorly bound – possibly originally. Restored title page. Stains. Fine margins. Good overall condition.
At its end, after the book ends, someone handwrote, in ancient Ashkenaizc script, indices and added them to the book. 4 pages – see pictures.
