צדיק גוזר וה’ מקיים! – letter with an appeal to a neighbor to allow the opening of a Kollel in an apartment, with a blessing for his wife’s good healeth if he does as he is asked … handwritten and signed by Maran Rabbi Ovadya Yosef the Rishon LeZion and Chief Rabbi of Israel – Jerusalem, 1988.
The letter was written for Kollel Rinat Yisrael, whom Rabbeinu was its president. In his letter, Rabbeinu appeals to a neighbor living near the apartment of the Kollel and pleads with him to allow the presence of the Avrechim, who will do all that is possible to keep quiet. At the end of his letter there is a touching passage, which was posibly written by Ruach HaKodesh: "ובזכות זאת השי"ת ישלח דברו הטוב וירפא רפואה שלמה לרעיתו תחיה, ותשאו ברכה מאת ה’ לאורך ימים ושנות חיים בבריאות איתנה ונהורא מעליא ברוב אושר ושלווה וכל טוב".
This is but a small example of a problem solved wisely by Rabbeinu, one of dozens solved daily by Rabbeinu.
