Sefer Toldot Yosef, section II of a wonderful work on Shir Hashirim authored by Rabbi Yosef Av Beit Din of Liska: "וזה אוד מוצל מאש משלהבת ספר תולדות יוסף הגדול שהוא ביאור גם על כל חמשה חומשי תורה, מארבעה דרכי התורה פרד"ס, חיברו הרב המאור הגדול מוהר"ר יוסף במו’ דוב בער אב"ד ומ"ץ דק"ר ליסקאווא, ומשם הורם והיה אב"ד ומ"ץ בק"ק פאריצק, אשר חיבר ספר הקדוש עטרת יוסף ורזין דרזין… וזה יצא ראשונה על מגילת שיר השירים".
The place and year of printing do not appear on the title page. However, according to the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book, it was apparently printed in Sudilkov. The approbations indicate that it was printed in 1825. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection.
On the title page and on an additional leaf, the stamp of the Kabbalist Rabbi Aharon Avraham Slotky of Jerusalem. In addition, on leaf 3, handwritten corrections – possibly by him.

Varied aging blemishes – most of them professionally restored. Fair overall condition. New semi-fabric binding.
According to the Bibliography of the Hebrew Book leaf [3] at the beginning of the book (with the author’s introduction, taken from his introduction to his work on the Pentateuch) was printed twice, with variations. In one version (apparently the first) the first page end swith the words
Rabbi Raphael Aharon Avraham Slotky (1883-1976) the son of Rabbi Moshe of Kalisch, one of the greatest Kabbalists of Jerusalem. A leading disciple of the famed Kabbalist Rabbi Chaim Shaul Dweik (the Sadeh) and Rabbi Moshe Alfandri. One of the Rosh Yeshivas of the Sha’ar Hashamayim yeshiva of Kabbalists – since 1960. In his old age, was the Rosh Yeshiva of the Ahavat Shalom Yeshiva of Kabbalists.
