First edition, Amsterdam, 1727. 78, [2] leaves. 18 cm. Stains. Moth perforations adn some moth damage. Original, worn binding, without the spine, part;y detahced. Good overall condition. Varied handwritten notations on the flyleafs – have not been studied (see pictures).

The Dayan Kabbalist Rabbi Raphael Immanuel Chai Ricchi (1687-1743) became famous for his work the Mishnat Chassidim, an important Kabbalistic book printed twice during his lifetime and then in many more editions. He was praised by leading rabbis. He authored many other books including Aderet Eliyahu, Hon Ashir, and more. His home in Jerusalem was later used by Rabbeinu Chaim ben Atar for his famed yeshiva, Knesset Yisrael.
