Sefer Yechezkel of the elegant bible printed by Roberto Stephanus who was known as the King’s Printer, on the twenty seventh year of the rule of King Francesco – Paris, 1541. 139 pp. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection. About the printer’s mark (an old man in ancient attire standing beneath a tree with the Latin inscription Noli Altum Sapere – Be not high-minded – by his head), see: Yaari Diglei Hamadpisim illustration 27.
Quality printing with large vowelized fonts on healthy paper with especially wide margins. Fine new binding. Red edges. Very good overall condition.
The title page and the rest of the book were lined by hand with precise lines bordering the text and the headings, see pictures. Some glosses on the margins of the sheet.
