Lot 127:
Interesting letter by the Divine Kabbalist Rabbi Moshe Yair Weinstock addressed to the Vaad Haklali of Jerusalem – Jerusalem, 1944.
In the letter, Rabbeinu addresses a mistake he made with funds he received from the Admor of Ozharov for the poor of Jerusalem and which, by mistake, he sent to the Vaad haklali, whereas the Admor’s intention was to send them to Kollel America: "אבל כעת השגתי מכתב מהאדמו"ר שליט"א, כי היה טעות בשיקול הדעת, וכי כוונתו הייתה באמת לכולל אמריקא ולא לועד הכללי, וצריכים א"כ לקבל חזרה מועה"כ ולמוסרם לכולל אמריקא-תפארת ירושלים.. נא למסור הסך.. הנ"ל לכולל אמריקא כי הכסף שייך להם…"
Enclosed is an official document from Kollel America, signed by three of its managers including Rabbi Shlomo Hacohen Gross and Rabbi Chaim Rabinovich, confirming that they had received the funds discussed in Rabbi Weinstock’s letter.

The Divine Kabbalist Rabbi Moshe Yair Weinstock (1899-1982) one of the greatest Kabbalists of Jerusalem, a disicple of Baal Hasulam. Authored 83 works like the years of his life. His Rav, Baal Hasulam, said of him: "בפולין יכולים היו לחצוב מאישיותו י"ג אדמו"רים" and once, when Baal Hasulam saw what Rabbeinu had written, he said admiringly: "אילו לא הכרתי את המחבר הייתי אומר שהבעש"ט בעצמו חיבר זאת". He studied Kabbalah with the Kabbalist Rabbi Chaim Shaul Hacohen Dweik when he was only 22 years old!!!
