Letter on a postcard handwritten and signed by the Chassid Rabbi David Abba Levin of Kfar Chabad, from the 21st of Sivan. The year was not noted. Addressed to th eGaon Rabbi Avraham David Rosental of Jerusalem.

The writer of the letter Rabbi David Abba Levin was a talented Melamed in the Chassidic town of Nevel by the order of the Admor the Rashab. His children were prominent Chassidic figures in the town: the Lamdan – rabbi Sheraga Feitel; the Chassid – Rabbi Yisarel and the Yereh Shamayim – Rabbi Gershon Ber.
The addressee the Gaon Rabbi Avraham David Rosental (1903-1999) Rav, Posek and Dayan. An important rav in Jerusalem. Served as Rosh Av beit Din of the Asheknazic-Prushim Beut Din, as rav of the Sha’arei Chessed neighborhood and as Rosh Yeshiva of several yeshivas and Kollelim. Author of the Be’er Hamelech series of books.
