Kuntres Anochi Magen Lach Given Directly by the Rebbe - Eve of Yom Habahir 25th of Cheshvan, 1990

Start price: $300

Buyer's premium:

Just before the 20th of Cheshvan 1990, a new Ma’amar by the Rebbe was found, one that was never published – "אנכי מגן לך תרע"ח". Although just four days earlier, on the 20th of Cheshvan, the Rebbe handed out the Kuntres Etz Hachaim, the Rebbe announced that since the manuscript was found precisely now by Divine Providence, it should be printed and handed out on Yom Habahir, the 15th of Cheshvan.

Monday, the 24th of Cheshvan 1990
On that day, word spread that the Rebbe was going to hand out the new Kuntres. Subsequently, the Beit Midrash was packed with a large crowd of Temimim students, residents of the neighborhood and many Chassidim from the entire area who had heard about the new Kuntres. The crowd also included many Shluchim who managed to get there from other cities. The excitement and joy were reflected, among others, in the Sabbath clothes that many of them wore…

After the prayer, at approx. 19:00, the Rebbe started handing out the new Kuntres, with an enclosed Dollar banknote for charity on its first page. The title-cover of the Kuntres is gray and printed on it, beneath the stamp of Kehat: "כ"ף מרחשון ה’תנש"א". Originally, it was wrapped with plastic. The preface is dated: "כ"ף מ"ח" (See: Mazkeret Netzach published by Tomechei Temimim Lubavitch, 2011).

We have no confirmation that this specific Kuntres was indeed given directly by the Rebbe; however, it is identical to those that were.
