Sefer Birkei Yosef, novellae on some of the Shulchan Aruch, section I on Orach Chaim and at its end, Shiyurei Beracha by Rabbeinu Chaim Yosef David Azulai – the Chida – first edition in the author’s lifetime. Livorno, 1774. 220 leaves. 31 cm. Moth perforations and some moth damage. Stains. Other minor blemishes. New, slightly blemished binding. Good overall condition. 

On the title page, a handwritten dedication to the Pachad Yitzchak Yeshiva. 

Pedigreed copy with ownership signatures "והוא להכותב חפנ"י" – the handwritten signature of the Kabbalist Rabbi Chaim Pinto the first, one of the leading rabbis of Morocco, who added a gloss handwritten by him on the margins of leaf 194b, writing: "ואישתמיט מהרב תוס’ יו"ט במגילה".


Additional curly signature that was not identified on the title page. 

Additional signatures in several places in the book: "אליהו מרדכי אייזינשטיין" – Rabbi Eliyahu Mordechai Eisenstein (ca. 1877-1957) the son of Rabbi Avraham. One of the Tzaddikim of Jerusalem and confidante of Rabbi Shmuel Salant. The son-in-law of Rabbi Zalman Chaim Rivlin, father-in-law of Rabbi Yechiel Matityahu Weiss and uncle of Rabbi Shmuel Houminer.
