Machzor section I, the custom of Pihem, Poland, Hungary and Mehrin, with a commentary on the Selichot by Rabbi Moshe Shedil – Prague, 1799. Section I: Prayers for the days of the week, Sabbath, Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, Selichot, Piyyut, Minhagim and Dinim. [1], 48; 266 leaves. Leaves 201-202 are missing. In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection.
Most of it has fine wide margins. With some bluish paper. Finely engraved title page. Ancient leather binding – blemished spine. Stains and many marks of usage. Some detached leaves. Moth perforations and damage. Fair-good overall condition. Has not been studied page-by-page for missing leaves.
On the flyleaf, a pencil notation: משה גרינצווייג". On the title page and first leaves, an old notation: "יעקב גאלד שמיד מנאחוד" "אני יצחק בן ר’ יעקב גאלד שמיד" – has not been studied.
