Kuntres Yashir Yisrael, fine poetry full of praises and gratitude to Hashem for saving the Jews of Livorno from a plague, by Rabbi Yaakov de Medina and Rabbi Moshe Ahron Rachamim Piazza. First and apparently single edition – Livorno, 1805. Originally, 24 pp. In this copy, the title page and last leaf are missing.
In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection.


At its beginning, Seder HaHoda’ah with instructions on when to say the poems and with Hallel Hagadol and Kaddish and a prayer by Rabbeinu the Chida. Pocket format: 10X14.5 cm. Wide margins. Quality paper. Detached card binding. Good overall condition.

additions of stanzas – in fine square script – to the existing stanzas. Possibly a private initiative or version corrections by the writers themselves.
