Sefer Sherit Yisrael, Torah novellae on several tractates of the Shas that appeared in the writings of Rabbi Yisrael Halevi Reis – passed away in his youth. His father, Rabbi Yitzchak Isaac Reis, published this book alongside his second son (see below). At its end, an additional work, Devek MeAch, on other tractates of the Shas, whose title indicates that it was published by the brother Rabbi Uri Feibel Reis in memory of his late brother.

Single edition (facsimile editions not withstanding) – Berlin, 1786. [2], 24, 86 leaves. Separate title page for Devek MeAch – in the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection. Approbations by rabbi Zvi Hirsch and Rabbi Susskind Katz. No binding. Moth perforations. Stains. Fair overall condition. 

Ownership notations on the title page: "חיים יצחק יעקב ראחלין?".
