אצל הלוויתו הקדושה היו איזהו אדמורי"ם ורבנים יושבי על מדין שליט"א, וכמה אלפים אנשים, וכאשר הרימו נושאי המטה את גופו הקדוש, פרצו כל העם בבכיות ויללות גדולות שאין לשער, האנשים קרעו בגדיהם, והנשים מרטו שערות ראשם, ואצל קברו הפתוח עמד הרה"צ מפאשקאן שליט"א, ובכה בדמעות שליש".
