Lot 207:
Volume containing the tractates of Rosh Hashana Yoma and Sukkah of the Bavli Talmud, printed by the Shapira brothers in Zhytomyr 1864. Tractate Rosh Hashana is incomplete, beginning with leaf 10. The title page of tractate Sukkah is torn to its width and leaves are missing from the end of the Rif.
Tears and blemishes. Some moth. Fair overall condition.
Stamps: "בהמ"ד בית יצחק לאנשי פרושים דכולל ווארשא הי"ו במגרש נחלת יעקב בעי"הק ירושלם תובב"א". Lengthy notations on the title page with the name ישראל מאיר במוהר"ר אברהם הכהן נ"י מפינסק היושב כעת במקום הנקרא אבן ישראל בירושלים קרתא קדישא" – repeating itself in square and curly script.
