Shut Maharam Schick, "four hundred and ten responses" mainly dealing with Yoreh Deah, by the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Schick Av Beit Din of Chust and one of the leading disciples of the Chatam Sofer.  First edition – Munkatch, 1881. [3], 144 leaves. Stefansky Sifrei Yesod p. 84 of the appendix. 

Fine new binding. Fragile paper. Moth perforations. Some tears, Fair-good overall condition. 

This copy is a most pedigreed one and was owned by important rabbis. First, the book was owned by the author’s disciple the Gaon Rabbi Shaul Rosenberg of Ratzfert (1865-1940) an important Belz Chassid, author of Shut Chemdat Shaul. 

This is indicated by a stamp on the title page, a notation handwritten by him beneath the title of the book and his full signature. 

Appearing on the title page is a signature and on verso of the title page, a stamp of his son and successor the Gaon Rabbi Amram Rosenberg. 

Two notations on the title page: "….קבלתי ממנו במתנה גמורה ה"ק שמעון סופר/באאמו"ר הרא"ז" – the Gaon Rabbi Shimin Sofer (1867-1931) Rav of Paks. 

Inside the book, many lengthy comments by at least two writers, some of them signed: "עמרם רוזנברג".
