Sefer Shevet MiYehuda on Chamisha Chumshei Torah, two Sections by the Gaon Rabbi Yehuda Greenwald Av Beit Din of Satmar. First Edition – Se’ini and Worhol 1922. [4], 254 leaves. Color title page for each section, with varying colors. Published by Rabbi Avraham Chanoch Friedman, the author’s nephew and grandson of the Chatam Sofer. 

At the end of each section (a different) list of subscribers from all over Hungary. Slightly loose front board. Minor stains. Good overall condiiton. 

On the first title page, a stamp: "אברהם שמואל בנימין סופר בהגמהרע"ס שליט"א" – the Gaon Rabbi Avraham Shmuel Binyamin Sofer, Av Beit Din of Pressburg, author of the Chashav Sofer. The son of Rabbi Akiva Sofer. 

On each title page, a dedicating notation to the Chashav Sofer handwritten and signed by his nephew Rabbi Yehoshua Fold Friedman, the son of the publisher and son-in-law and successor of Rabbi Shaul Brach Av Beit Din of Kashoi. Was a disciple of the author.  Persihed in 1944. 

On the flyleaf, a lengthy ownership notation with the name: "אברהם יוסף דוב איש שלום (פרידמן) בההגה"צ ר’ מנחם דוד שליט"א נכד של מהרי"ו..(?) רב ומ"מ פה פרעשבורג באתרא דח"ס זי"ע".
