Kuntres Mikveh Yisrael Hashem – Piskei Halachot by Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Freund Av Beit Din of Nassod – edited by his grandson Rabbi Asher Steinmintz – printed in the midst of the Holocaust – Satmar, 1943 – approbation by Maran the author of the VaYoel Moshe.
The Kuntres was edited by Rabbi Asher Steinmintz, the son-in-law of Rabbi Yisrael Freund Av Beit Din of Honiad, the son of the Admor Rabbi Avraham Yehoshua Av Beit Din of Nassod. In the book, Rabbi Stenmintz introduced Piskei Halachot by his grandfather the Nassoder Rav as well as Torah novellae by his in-law Av Beit Din of Honiad and lessons by the Admor the holy Gaon of Shinova.
The book contains a rare approbation by ther Admor of Satmar, who writes: "ובפרט כי הוא עולה ומדפיס בחיבורו גם חידושים מתוקים… מכ"ק חו"ז הגה"ק האב"ד דק"ק נאסוד זלה"ה… אבל אין זה תפארת לפניו שאהי’ אנכי שר המסכים עליו אך זה אוכל להודיע כי גם אנכי בעניי מהעומדים ומצפים לראות דברות קדשו בנפש שוקקה".
Extremely rare! Since the book was printed in the midst of the terrible Holocaust, only few copies of this rare Kuntres remained!
