Folks Schulen Buch [Popular Jewish Schools] published by Yiddishe Folks Schulen for its 15th jubilee, Montreal, Canada 1929. Lovely book with Yiddish articles and many pictures of schools and varied advertisements, some of them photographed, enabling a peek into Jewish life in Canada of those days.
118, [2] pp. With a fine printed title-cover. This copy is bound in an elegant leather binding with an embossed dedication to "חבר יהודה קויפמן" – Yehuda Even Shmuel (Kaufman), the first editor of the Hebrew Encyclopedia and the first translator of HaKuzari into Hebrew.
Minor blemishes. Small tears at the beginning and end of the book. Very good overall condition.
