Letter of recommendation for Rabbi Chaim Dov Rabinovich on his Daat Sofrim commentary on Torah and Nevi’im, with words of praise and encouragement to the author (it should be noted that the Admor Rabbi Menachem Mendel of Lubavitch recommended educators to teach from this book) and protest against other authors distorting Dvar Hashem, by Rabbi Yosef Dov Soloveitchik the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshiva University – Boston, 1963.
In his letter, Rabbeinu writes sharp words against commentators who distort sacred verses: "בימים האלה, כשהרבה בועטים בקדושת תורתנו, בכתב ובע"פ, מסלפים את המקראות, מחללים את הקודש ומגלים פנים בתורה שלא כהלכה".
