Lot 16:
Shut Shoel UMeshiv by Rabbi Yosef Shaul Nathanson Av Beit Din of Lvov and the vicinity. The foundational and famed book by the Gaon which became an inalienable asset of halachic literature. Stefansky Sifrei Yesod 313. Copy that had belonged to the rabbis of the Bamberger family (see below) with handwritten signatures and notations. Tears and varied blemishes. Worn and detached bindings without the spine. Detached leaves and sheets. Tears affecting the text in several places. Most of it in good overall condition.
These are 2 thick volumes with most of the sections of the set (10 of 15), first edition:

Mahadura Talitah: 1875. Section I: [2], 99, [1] leaves (leaf 3 is missing); section II: 1876. [2], 80 leaves; section III: 1875. [2], 64 [i.e. 74] leaves.
Mahadura Raviah: 1876. Section I: [1], 69 leaves; section II: [2], 78 leaves; section III: [1], 109 leaves.
Mahadura Chamishah: 1879. Sefer Divrei Shaul and Yosef Daat, which is the fifth edition of Shoel UMeshiv. [1], 97 leaves.
Handwritten ownership signatures and notations of the rabbis of the bamberger family:
"משה אריה הלוי" – Rabbi Moshe Aryeh HaLevi Bamberger (1838-1900), Rav of Bad-Kissingen (Bavaria, Germany) for approx. 25 years. Sixth son of the Rav of Wurzberg, Rabbi Yitzchak Dov Bamberger, and son-in-law (by his first marriage) of Rabbi Yaakov Ettlinger, author of the Aruch LaNer. He published his father’s books with his brother Rabbi Shlomo HaLevi Bamberger, Av Beit Din of Senheim.
"הק’ זעקיל הלוי" – Rabbi Yitzhak Zekel Bamberger was the regional Rav of Bad-Kisingen, in Bavaria, son of Rabbi Simcha (Simon) Bamberger of Ashapenburg, grandson of Rabbi Yitzchak Dov Bamberger of Wurzberg. He married his cousin Gendel (Nannette) Bamberger, the daughter of Moshe Aryeh Leib Bamberger, and granddaughter of Rabbi Yaakov Ettlinger (the Aruch LaNer). Passed away in 1934.
