Sefer Yam shel Shlomo, on tractate Chulin, by Rabbi Shlomo Luria (the Maharshal) – Furth, 1766. 98 leaves. 32 cm. Mispagination. Moth perforations and damage. Stains and some other blemishes. Good overall condition.
On the binding, a colorless embossment of the famed Menorah logo of the books of the library of the Admor of Ger, the Imrei Emet.
On the title page and on the last leaf, 2 types of exciting stamps of the Etz Chaim Yeshiva of Volozhin: "אוצר הספרים של ישיבת ‘עץ חיים’ דולאזין" ו"שייך להישיבה הק’ עץ חיים וולאזן" – indeed, the book is an exciting relic of the glorious past of the Volozhin Yeshiva that was known as the Mother of the yeshivas, the yeshiva that was founded by the Tzaddik Gaon, the leading disciple of HaGra, Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin, author of Nefesh Hachaim.
