On the flyleaf, a handwritten notation: "שייך להרב החריף הגאון מו’ חיים ברלין אב"ד פה מאסקווא" וכן חותמת "חיים ברלין בהגאון אדמו"ר הנצי"ב זצ"ל מלפנים רב במאסקווא ואב"ד ור"מ בוואלוז’ין וכעת בירושלים עה"ק ת"ו".

original, blemished leather binding. Stains, some of them large. Open tears to the title page and several additional leaves, not affecting the text. Good condition.
