Sefer Mishnat Chassidim, Kavanot Hatfilot based on the writings of the Ari and his disciples, by the Dayan Kabbalist Rabbi Raphael Immanuel Hai Ricchi of Livorno. This work was the basis for the first Chassidic Siddurim such as Siddur Rabbi Shabtai and Siddur Rabbi Asher.

Printed in Lemberg, 1858. 156 leaves. At the end of the second introduction, the author wrote a nice poem on Olamot Neshamot Kavanot. Ancient leather spine. Scuffed and worn binding. Some moth damage. Stains. Good overall condition.

On the title page, an ownership signature of Rabbi Amram Yishai Segal Bilitzer, a leading disciple of the Chatam Sofer and Av Beit Din of Serentsh, Hungary.

Addiitonal signature on the title page: "מאיר סגל טישלער תרכ"ח".

On the flyleaf, a notation, apparently, handwritten by Rabbi Amram, praising the Mishnat Chassidim: "קבלה מבעמ"ח עטרת צבי (הרה"ק מזידיטשויב) על הזה"ק זלה"ה דכל מה שלא נא’ [נאמר] ונשנה בס’ משנת חסידים א"צ לקבל (!) אפי’ אם נא’ בספרי’ גדולי’ – והבין – כי זה הוא משנה תורה לעניינים האלה".

On verso of the flyleaf, a handwritten notation (by an unidentified writer), a star-of-David-like amulet with combinations of names and names of angels. According to what is written on its lower part, was meant for good health: "יהא רעוא משמיא שיוסר כל חולי וכל מדוה וכל כאב וכל מכאוב וכל נגע ופצע וחבורה… יתמשך רפואה שלמה לרמח אברי’ ושסה גידי’ בתוך שאר חולי ישראל אנסו".

Inside the book, on leaf 105, where the author deals with the Kavanot of the Ktoret and how to say them as a Segulah for stopping a plague, a handwritten comment on the verses of the Ktoret

On the back flyleaf, beneath the title Hakavanot shel Haktoret, lengthy handwritten lines with instructions and examples of combinations of verses and holy names.
