In the National Library, the book appears in the Rare Book Collection. Old binding with scratches. Blemished back board. Fabric spine and new corners. Moth damage, affecting the text in some places. Good overall condition.

On the flyleaf,
a stamp indicating this copy was owned by the great Gaon Rabbi Meir Shapira of Lublin (1887-1934) the son of Rabbi Yaakov Shimshon of Schotz. The initiator of the Daf Yomi, Rav of several cities and since 1930, Rav of Lublin, where he established the famed Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin. President of Agudat Yisrael in Poland and its representative at the Polish Sejm. On the leaves of the book, a handwritten leaf with Torah Novellae whose content and writer have not been studied.

In addition, many stamps of the library of Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin and varied notations, apparently by its students expressing the reverence and love they felt toward their great Rav.

Addiitonal notations: "יוסף מאיזביצא". "הב’ ישראל יצחק רעטמאן מוואלבראם". "אברהם בארנשטיין" – have not been studied. Possibly, also by the students of Yeshivat Chachmei Lublin.
